Sangoma Technologies Corporation, through its subsidiaries, engages in the development, manufacture, distribution, and support of voice and data connectivity components for software-based communication applications primarily in Canada and the United States. The company provides hardware products, including analog & digital telephony cards, digital voice and data networking, digital analog hybrids, voice transcoding, line tapping, fax synch solution, cables, and specialty tools; software products, such as SS7 solutions and NetBorder suite for contact centers; analog & digital gateways, SBC (Session Border Controllers), Express For Lync; IP PBX, IP Phones and multiplexers. It also offers hardware telephony cards, software drivers, software applications, and utilities that enable computing devices, principally PC servers to communicate with telephone networks and high speed wide area networks. In addition, the company provides WANPIPE, an internal routing solution to support the systems with telephony and serial interfaces; and toolkits to produce switches, routers, and other connectivity devices.
Sangoma Telephony cards are widely used in communication servers such as Asterisk, Elastix, FreePBX, Trixbox and PBX in Flash. on the other hand Sangoma product is selling interactive voice response, call center and data-communication applications, as well as telecommunications, ISP, finance, aerospace, government, retail, hospitality, and education industries worldwide. The company was founded in 1984 and is based in Markham, Canada.
